Have you ever seen an old, dilapidated house that's been abandoned? Have you noticed how it tends to just fall apart after a while, when no one is living in it? Seems ironic that a house that is lived in holds up, but a house that has been abandoned falls apart, though it's not getting the wear and tear that a lived-in house gets. 

Have you noticed that the same thing happens to cars that just sit in a driveway and don't get driven? The tires go flat, the battery dies, things start going wrong. Yet the car is just sitting there, getting no wear and tear. 

Even if the house or the car is brand new, if it sits there empty, it starts to fall apart. Curious, isn’t it?

What is this phenomenon? What causes this?

The answer is: conscious presence.

We are the creators of our universe, of our worlds, and everything that we put our focus on is given our conscious attention. Our conscious attention is energy. So, what we give attention to, we energize. When our focus and attention are withdrawn, so is the energy. Nature takes its course, and what was once a house or car eventually turns back into the energy potential of what it once was.

Where are you?

Have you ever noticed that our bodies also age and lose energy? Why might that be?

Where is your mind, most of the time? Where is your consciousness focused? Where is your presence? Is it focused in your body? Is it giving your attention to your nervous system and bodily sensations? Or do you tend to go off in your mind somewhere, somewhen else, escaping, focusing on other things, and leaving your body behind? Then one day you look in the mirror, and you really look, and you realize your reflection is different from what you remember. You wonder how that happened. When did that happen? It happened when you weren't looking, when you weren't consciously present in your body.

Our bodies hold onto it until we face it.

Trauma has a way of sending us scampering off as far away in our minds from our bodies as we can possibly get. The more our thoughts are dwelling on trying to avoid the emotional pain, ruminating over hurtful situations and perceived separation from our sense of safety, security, support and comfort, the more our bodies speak up, trying to get our attention, but it hurts, it feels uncomfortable, and we can't stand to be in our own skin. We have feelings of shame, guilt, fear, anger, grief, anxiety, depression... the list goes on - these all manifest as symptoms in our bodies, not to mention the circumstances, situations, and relationships that show up as uncomfortable and painful patterns that we don't want to keep going through.

Our bodies are not just physical.

There is so much more to you than you know!

There is this physical layer of the entire bodymind complex that we see as our body, but that's just this compressed physical layer of our entire bodymind complex. 

Our entire bodymind complex consists of a few intradimensional layers, all connected with each other, and ultimately intertwined with this physical layer that we look into the mirror and see. The one we physically feel. The one we keep escaping from by staying in our heads, living in the past, projecting fears onto our futures. 

This physical body gets left behind. And just like an abandoned house or car, it starts falling apart, losing functionality... it loses life, vitality, health, joy, youthfulness, and vigor, when we are not consciously present.

The way to stay healthy and energized is to come back to our physical bodies and give them our conscious presence that they keep asking us for.

But how do you do that?

Some say that “time heals all wounds,” but that is not actually true. Time doesn’t heal a thing, as time itself isn’t actually true. Time is simply a perception - a concept or construct that is collectively agreed to, and one that we habitually alter, usually without even realizing that we are doing so.

In fact, the longer we wait to address our wounds, the more complex, layered and difficult they become, the more distortions we have to deal with. 

This is because it is not time that heals, but rather, it is our conscious presence - our Spirit - that does the healing.

Think of fixing up that dilapidated old house. If you just imagine it’s all fixed up, does it fix itself up automatically? Not in this realm it doesn’t. We can imagine how we WANT it to be, but we actually have to go inside and do the work.

Our bodies are similar in that way, only we can’t hire contractors to come physically work out our plan. We have to get into our bodies and do the work ourselves.

In this course, you will learn how to do that and receive guidance every step of the way.

What's inside The Consciously Present Course?

The Consciously Present Course is designed to help you to easily do the inner work. It is, first and foremost, a course in learning your own nervous system and addressing your trauma wounds, and as such, it is designed in such a way as to give you the tools you need to build your strong foundation for healing and moving forward in your life, being consciously present.

You will learn to provide your body with what your body needs for healing: to feel safe, secure, and supported - developing the ability to give these felt sensations to your body. 

You’ll learn how to regulate your nervous system as it becomes triggered and activated, and how to discharge the energy that got stuck in your nervous system and bodily tissues.

You’ll also learn how to manage challenging emotions, tolerate feeling all those feelings we don’t want to feel - the very ones we try so hard to escape from, by withdrawing our conscious presence from our bodies, as you learn to build your capacity for feeling emotions in your body. 

You’ll learn to provide yourself with compassion and grace, and also how to safely process all the events you’ve lived through, as you let the pain go.

You’ll learn how to live life again, consciously present in your own life, as you celebrate you.

Become consciously present within your SELF

The Consciously Present Course: Module 1 is a 12 week course module, with daily lessons and exercises - every day, for 84 consecutive days. You can do a lesson and exercise a day, or you can go at your own pace, if you need to take more time to do a lesson and exercise.

As you have ongoing and continued access to this course, you can take as much time as you need and go through this course as many times as you’d like.

While this is a home study course, you are by no means on your own. You will have support, as I will be available to answer your questions and provide clarification as needed.

We are also growing our community with others who are also taking the Consciously Present Course.

This is a course on how to go within to be consciously present within your SELF, connect with your own authenticity, develop that inner connection with your Soul and your body, and fully express your True Self in this life… and beyond, as the Divine and Sovereign Soul you are.

Following the 12-week Module 1 of the Consciously Present Course, the smaller modules 2 and 3 will be available for you to purchase, if you choose to continue your journey - your journey into YOU. 

The Consciously Present Course: Module 2 will dive deeper into the biology and physiology of overwhelm or trauma. You'll learn even more about why you feel the way you do as you learn more about how your physiology affects your thoughts, emotions, feelings, and behaviors, as well as what you can do about it.

In Module 3, we go into a deeper dive yet, as we get into your energetic anatomy, the True nature of reality, our multi-realm, multi-dimensional existence, and get to know these invisible parts of us that also affect how we live and interact in this life. We’ll get into deeply metaphysical and esoteric Truths in this module, as we work on furthering our development of our intuitive and metaphysical abilities, should you choose to continue into the third module of The Consciously Present Course.

Please note: Modules 2 and 3 are separate from Module 1 of The Consciously Present Course and are not included in Module 1. They will be available for you to purchase after you have completed the prerequisite Module 1, which is the required foundational piece for the following modules.

Build a Strong and Secure Foundation

In the first module of The Consciously Present Course, you will start by building your foundation and work on safely healing trauma. 

Regulate Your Nervous System

You'll learn how to shift your focus to the felt sensations in your body so you know the moment you feel triggered and dysregulated, and how to regulate your nervous system in live time, so you can regain your composure and continue your day, without anxiety overwhelming you and sabotaging your life.

Discharge and Release Trapped Emotions and Stuck Energy

Emotions are energy, and when they are stuck, you don't have access to that energy until it is discharged and released. You'll learn how to safely release the emotions that have been trapped, which get activated when another person or situation triggers you. You'll learn how to discharge that trapped energy out of your nervous system and body, so you can tap into more of your True and Authentic Self instead of being hijacked by old wounds that just keep hurting.

Build Capacity

Next, you learn how to upgrade your comfort zone!

This is where you build tolerance and capacity to feel the difficult emotions as you learn to remain consciously present in your body while you feel what you feel, through somatic experiencing, and discharge stuck energies that have made relationships and circumstances so challenging as they have continually been triggered and activated. You’ll learn how to let them go.

Complete Your Assignments

This isn't simply a course in which you take in and assimilate all the content - all the "head knowledge," but rather, one in which you learn to somatize or embody what you are learning, and physically EXPERIENCE your results. You will be completing daily exercises in which you truly get to know your own body and how your nervous system responds to the various tools and methods you are learning. This is an experiential course, not just intellectual.

You’ll learn about all the different parts of you as you engage in parts work, finding your own shadows, and integrating the parts of you that have held onto pain, so that these parts of you can start to let go of the pain as you welcome them home and integrate all those parts of you that have felt so abandoned and alone.

Remember and Reconnect with Your Passions

You’ll learn to reconnect with your passions, recover from narcissistic abuse, and even learn how to deal with your own inner critic, as you transform into your own True Source of self-compassion and self-acceptance.

De-mystify Others' Behaviors and Stop Taking Things Personally

You’ll learn how to recognize why other people also behave the way they do, and how to deal with them, AS your True Self. You'll learn how to break free from painful rumination cycles and loops, so you can move forward and let go of the painful, judgmental and self-critical thoughts that hurt.

Set and Honor Healthy Boundaries

You’ll discover your true values, goals, how to stop self-sabotage, and how to set and honor your own healthy boundaries, not only with others, but also with yourself. You'll also learn how to deal with that harsh inner critic that seems to sabotage your efforts and beat you down.

Build Relationships in a Safe and Supportive Community

You are not alone as you go through this process. Connect with others who are also going through this course. Build friendships with others who are also building the capacity within themselves to provide a safe, nurturing, and compassionate space to support themselves and others.

Accept All that is You

Just because someone told you that you weren't supposed to like, love, or accept some part of you, that never made it true. It just became a program - one that you can delete and change. You will learn to accept ALL that is YOU, as you discover your True Self worth and EMBODY the Love that You Truly Are.

Trauma is BIOLOGICAL

It's not just in your head.

People think that trauma is about the stories and events that happened to us, but trauma is actually biological in nature. Trauma is biological overwhelm, and whether or not it gets stored in the body depends on our nervous system reaction to the emotions that flooded us at the time of any particular event, at any time in our lives. In this course, you will learn the difference between stress and trauma, how to deal with stress to keep it from being stored as trauma, and how to release trauma from your body and nervous system, so that you can live your life.

What You'll Need for This Course

  • We do daily journaling, so a journal and pen are recommended, however, if you prefer to use a device notepad to type in your notes, this is also fine - but journaling is a KEY component of this course, so you will need not only to journal, but to make the time to do it each day.

  • Several exercises will require art supplies such as crayons, colored pencils, coloring markers, pastels, or whatever coloring agent you like to use the most. Access to a printer will also be helpful for these exercises.

  • A safe and quiet space where you will not be disturbed is essential for this course. The exercises are quite short, so it won't be necessary to sequester yourself away for long periods of time, but for the short amount of time needed to do your daily assignments, a safe and quiet space is key.

  • A chair with a back, arm rests, and neck support is ideal for most exercises.

  • Pillows, towels, and blankets are support tools we will use. We will also look for items to use to support your feet.

  • Your willingness to be patient and compassionate with yourself, to hold space for yourself, is key. Let go of any need to be perfect or put pressure on yourself.

  • Most of all, your willingness to commit to yourself is what’s needed. Show up each day, and follow the course. An open mind that is willing to consider and learn is also ideal.

Meet Your Guide

Tricia Reed

It’s natural to ask who you’re learning from in a course such as this. Let me introduce myself to you. My name is Tricia Reed, and I’m the one who has written The Consciously Present Course. I am the one who will be answering your questions as you go through this course and providing you with guidance and support.

My work in this realm is that of a trauma informed recovery coach, metabolic recovery coach, energy healing practitioner of eight modalities, author of The Space Between - An Inspirational Tale of the Journey out of the Ego-Mind and into Spirit, and several websites, including Energetic Mastery and Goddess Ignited. I also work as an intuitive, psychic and medium, and am actively working on consciousness exploration within the dimensional spaces and realms within this construct - and beyond the construct itself.

At the time of this writing, I have brought more than 30 years of research and experience into my work, to share this with you.

My roles include: cat momma, consciousness explorer, coffee lover, compassionate friend, tropics enthusiast, singer, foodie, metaphysical experiencer, empath, avid researcher, nature lover, constantly-learning-genius, and Sovereign Being standing in my own Authority.
